i got a little overwhelmed but i worked up a wander and called an old friend i hadn't seen in years who (it turns out) now lives a couple blocks over and has a new kid. want to take a walk? she asked. sure, i said.

then she called back asking if she should bring popsicles. i asked her what flavor and she said strawberry. so i said yeah, and then we walked around with strawberry popsicles.

what can i say, i got talent.
